Story
Taste the Terroir of Huehuetenango
Explore and compare three exceptional coffees from one of Guatemala’s most celebrated regions. Each coffee is sourced from small, dedicated producers who prioritize quality, consistency, and the expression of place.
Why do we love the Huehuetenango region?
Nestled within the Cordillera de Los Cuchumatanes—the highest non-volcanic mountain range in Central America—Huehuetenango features elevations soaring above 11,800 feet. Warm, dry winds from Mexico’s Tehuantepec plain sweep through the region, shielding it from frost and allowing coffee to flourish at elevations between 5,000 and 6,000 feet. These rare conditions foster distinct microclimates ideal for slow, even cherry maturation.
The result? A remarkable cup profile with vibrant acidity, a full, rounded body, and lively red fruit and wine-like notes. These are truly singular coffees that reflect the magic of their origin.
This box includes three (300g) bags from different farms in Huehuetenango:
