Story

This small farm is managed by a mother and her passionate daughter, Petrona Perez. the five Acre farm is located at an altitude of 1,800 meters, in a village near Jacaltenango in the region of Huehuetenango. Petrona’s mother established the farm, Finca Satchibal, twenty years ago. The farm name "Satchibahl” translates as “the fruit of the tree”. At a young age, Petrona took charge and even though the farm is very small, she places meticulous attention on producing the highest quality coffee, consistently each year. This very special lot of bourbon was washed by hand, fermented, and then dried in patios, controlling every step to guarantee delicious and unique flavor characteristics.
